Moving Up the Mountain

The week-end is over & it was much more relaxing and positive than anyone could ever expect.  My mind wasn't lingering on the "what did happen" moments and was actually enjoying the "this is life now" moments.

My husband is one of the most amazing men.  We have been through many valleys separately and together as well.  We have remained together no matter how difficult the battle before us.  And it seems as though the littlest things he does for me mean the most.

We had such a great week-end just lying around, watching movies and munching junk food together.  :o) My mind was a million miles away from where my life had been 25 years ago.  I am just blessed....

Thanks for all the wonderful & supportive comments that you have left for me lately.  I know that a big part of me surviving this past week-end was because of you all.  Your encouragement, your prayers, they all mean so much....

Have a terrific week everyone!

Hi Rhonda,
I tell you one more time, I am so happy to have found you in Blogland. I have met wonderful Christian friends Online, and I could say that my life has changed afterwards. I used to feel worthless. Now, I feel worth it.
I thought my poetry was meaningless. Now, I feel my poems can touch someone's heart and reach others in a positive way.
I know there is someone special behind the screen who is reading my posts, just like you, dear precious heart, Rhonda. I am so happy to have met you, sweetheart. You will never know how much... My hubby and I make plans to relocate back home to the States after he retires. He is a Physician Surgeon Overseas. I am an American, but he is not. I met him overseas in one of my journeys. My daughter wants me in New York. Hubby loves Florida. But, my heart of hearts is in North Carolina. I also love Tennessee with its great country music that inspires me a great deal. I am a freelance poet, writer, song-lyricist, blogger, animal lover and advocate. I am a Christian mom and a grandmother too. I've got 3 grandchildren. They were all born in New York, just like my daughter. I am a survivor of domestic violence and cruel abuses, physically and mentally from my daughter's father. But, the Lord rescued me, and I am alive thanks God. Praise the Lord for so many blessings on us! We should thank our dear Lord and Savior for this day, for this moment, for our loving blessings each day. We should be grateful for what we have, and not be overwhelmed for what we don't have. Life is too short, and we should appreciate each moment with positive attitudes and lasting values. You can send me your Email, if you wish to write a comment in one of my post. I won't publish it, because of comment moderation in all my sites.I'll keep it for myself. Then, I'll be able to write to you in a more personal way. I hope and pray to buy a country home in North Carolina, closed to Charlotte, but in another county. I love your animals, Rhonda!! I enjoy reading your posts so much. God bless you in every single way, and those you love, precious heart, Rhonda!!
Have a blessed weeek!!
