Thought I'd Share A Few Cards With Ya!
Wow! That week-end went TOO FAST! Not only that, but once I got a breather from all the papers I had to write in school, they decided to assign me another one to research by the 10th of Dec. Add an essay on top of that and finals........where is my down time??? I did get about 24 Christmas Cards scrapped this week-end and my niece and nephew's birthday cards. I have half of my sisters done.......but for some reason it's harder to finish hers up. Lord knows what she's into!!!
It's been getting rather cold here lately.........we did get a little rain yesterday, but only enough to make the day drag and be dreary. Well, I guess I need to get back to the books........I'll post some Christmas Cards later on as I get them finished up.

A Thanksgiving Prayer
Family Thanksgiving Prayer
Dear precious Lord,We bow our heads in heartfelt, thankful prayer; For all the ways You've blessed our livesand for Your loving care.We thank You for the handsthat have prepared this special treatAnd pray that You will bless all those who have no food to eat.
Dear precious Lord,We bow our heads in heartfelt, thankful prayer; For all the ways You've blessed our livesand for Your loving care.We thank You for the handsthat have prepared this special treatAnd pray that You will bless all those who have no food to eat.
We're thankful for Salvation's plan and for Your Holy Word; And pray we'll help to spread Your love to those who've never heard. We're thankful for our freedom and for churches that are near;Where we can meet to praise Your Name and worship without fear.
But still our hearts are saddened by our brothers who aren't free;Who suffer death and torture for their Christianity. We pray You'll give them strength and courage as their cross they bear; And let them know God's family remembers them in prayer.
We thank You for heroic troops who fight for liberty; And daily risk their lives and limbs to keep our country free.Forgive us of our many sins and keep us close today; And bless this food You've given us, In Jesus Name, we pray.
Amen
Love to you all,
Rhonda

The U in Jesus
Before U were thought of or time had begun, God stuck U in the name of His Son.
And each time U pray, you'll see it's true,You can't spell out JesUs and not include U.
You're a pretty big part of His wonderful name, For U, He was born; that's why He came.
And His great love for U is the reason He died.
It even takes U to spell crUcified.
Isn't it thrilling and splendidly grand He rose from the dead, with U in His plan?
The stones split away, the gold trUmpet blew, And this word resUrrection is spelled with a U.
When JesUs left earth at His upward ascension, He felt there was one thing He just had to mention.
"Go into the world and tell them it's true That I love them all - Just like I love U."
So many great people are spelled with a U, Don't they have a right to know JesUs too?
It all depends now on what U will do, He'd like them to know, But it all starts with U.
Will YOU pass it on.
When Jesus died on the cross he was thinking of you!
If you are one of the 7% who will stand up for him, forward this.

My Tear Bear
Well, I am going to try and make today's post positive. I have a great deal to vent about since I've been up since 6:30 this morning on my day off!!!! We had "unexpected AND uninvited" company arrive last night!!!! If I can keep my cool through this one, the next time is going to be an eruption to make headlines!!!!!!
Here is a pic of my first tear bear. I have been wanting to learn how to make them for a good while and it was one of the things I accomplished at the SWARM last week-end (how I wish I was there THIS w/e!!) Pray for me today! You may here about me on FOX NEWS: DAUGHTER-IN-LAW GOES NUTS ON IN-LAWS SHOWING UP AT HER DOORSTEP!! And to think I thought I could get away from Maxine!!!

Our team party turned out alright last night......I would still rather be in the presence of 15 noisy three year olds compared to all those older boys last night! Whew! They can get pretty chatty. Please continue to pray for my sweet friend Trish as she adjusts to not having Reilly here on earth anymore. I know God has a good many crowns for her in heaven for all the work she's done with these animals (and the children she's mentored throughout the years as well). She instills values in these animals as well.
I have mentioned my friend Deborah before who has been battling with cancer. I guess earlier this week the news was not good and the cancer has basically spread throughout her body. She continues to be a pillar of strength, but as we all know, time is going to come to an end soon. Pray for her and her two small boys. They have already traveled a road that is difficult for any adult to travel, let alone a child.
Thought I'd share a picture of my sweet Pugsinator with you today. He rarely is put in the pen outside anymore....only on days when I may be gone for more than 5 or 6 hours. According to the neighbors behind us, he sits on top of his Igloo house until I come home. He is sooo cute..........he'll look to see if it's me pulling in as I drive by and then he stands up all perky and off to the gate he runs. "Mama is home!!! Yeah!!!" Now, I can't say he does that for "dad." haha
Brady gets his braces put on this afternoon so you know my week-end is going to be full of moaning and groaning. Men! LOL

God has called another one home.....
I woke up this morning with a very saddened heart. My very good friend, Trish, has had a very sick horse, Reilly. Yesterday, I received an email from her basically preparing me for what was to come today. That is just the type of person she is......always trying to help everyone else understand why things have to happen, especially with our wonderful pets. She has rescued several horses as well as all the wonderful dogs, sheep, chickens, goats, rabbits, etc., that she has. She truly has the heart of a rescuer and animal lover.
Today was different for me though. Trish was there for me when I lost my Roxy. I didn't even know Trish that well then either. Maybe a few weeks or more. But she was there to comfort and help me get back on my feet. Now, we both have Multiple Pet Syndrome!!! This is the email that I had waiting on me this morning:
With great courage and calmness, Reilly died today.
The hospital called to tell us that his body had begun to shut down and he was in a lot of pain. It all happened very fast and unexpectedly. At our request, they gave him a drug to take away his awareness and the pain until we could get there.
He died peacefully and quickly. He did not suffer. He did not fight it.
He died with the same kind of grace and dignity that he lived his life with.
He truly was one of the most endearing spirits that ever walked this earth.
I felt every day was especially blessed because I could share it with him.
Thanks so much for all of your prayers. I know Reilly was as strengthened by them as I was.
Love you all very much,
Trish.......
....and Reilly

Please continue to pray for Trish and her family through this loss. A pet is nothing easy to lose. It is just as much a part of a family than anything else. As you can see, Reilly was a beautiful and well loved family member.

Another long day....
Boy, today seemed much longer than yesterday! Of course, I had classes and once I got home, I tried to focus on my research paper that is due in a few weeks. I should have left the TV off because FOX News announced that Meisha Ferrell plead guilty at her trial today and stated she WILL testify against Bobby Cutts. For those of you who have not followed the story, Bobby Cutts killed is girlfriend and mother of his son and soon-to-be daughter back in June. I hope he gets the death penalty for what he did.
There were three teens killed yesterday afternoon in a car accident here in Pittsboro. Two of the boys attended Northwood H Brittany and one of the boys went to Horton with Brady. Yes, Brady knew the boy so they sent home a note to the parents explaining that they have counselors on hand for grief counseling and such. It's very sad.
Other than that, it's been a decent day. I am debating on whether I should take 6 classes next semester or stick with the five during the day. We'll see!!

Carolina SWARM #2
Well, as many of you know, I bailed work on Friday and took off for Charlotte for another week-end of Scrapbooking. I know one thing, I am sick to death of Charlotte!! They don't know how to drive worth a lick there!! We had a wonderful hotel and I hated to leave that bed behind. It was comfy!! We had dinner at the Cheesecake Factory (and cheesecake of course). I had Pumpkin Pecan Cheesecake........mmmm...... Then we went shopping at a few local stores. Can you believe I didn't spend hardly anything??? Saturday we begin to scrap away. There were only about 10 veterans there from the past SWARM so we had quite a few new folks to get to know. I was busy working on Christmas cards and I actually got the most done before lunch so I got to wear the Princess Crown for most of the afternoon. Needless to say, I didn't take ONE picture!! I worked!!! LOL And I finally learned how to make the Tear Bears. Yeah!!!! Well, I'm off to finish my latest Christmas Card. This time change stinks!!!
