Winter, Winter please go away......

What a rough winter we have had here in NC this year. This past month has been so cold and windy. We missed an entire week of school and that's not counting all the two hour delays we had. I am definitely ready to embrace spring with open arms.

The boys are doing great. Brady is playing tennis again this year and Brandon made the school baseball team. I am so proud of them both. Brady's grades have been impressive and of course Brandon's straight A's always are.

Work is going much smoother. It's hard to believe we only have a few more months with those little one's. This past week we were studying pets and we made these sweet little kitty cat plates. I just thought I'd share one of them with you all.

Well, off to finish the laundry!

More Snow Pics....

House doesn't know whether or not he wants to get his paw cold or not. He just wants to the snow!

Can ya tell we basically live in the woods? This is a backyard shot.

So today we had another snow day. Evidently it must be pretty ice out. I know that around 5 a.m. we had sleeting rain coming down but it was gone when I crawled out of bed around 8:45 a.m. The snow days have definitely been a blessing for my health because I know that I would have had to call of work sick. I drank some Nyquil last night before bed but all it really did was make me have bizarre dreams. Hopefully we'll at least have a two hour delay tomorrow. They are saying that we are expecting another wintry mix this week-end. I hope not because I never have liked winter.

I thought you might enjoy a few more pics of the white stuff. Have a safe week!

House eats the snow like it's fresh meat! LOL

Mia Sue can barely walk in the white stuff....

Snow Day

Well, we received about 9 inches of the white stuff this week-end. That meant no school today. Yippee!!! Of course, if we were back in WV, then they'd have no problem heading off to school. It's funny how the folks around here freak out at the mention of snow.

I just thought I'd share a few photographs of our wintry wonderland with you. House is loving it! You definitely don't need a snow shovel with him around. He's eating the snow as if you just served him a hamburger! haha

Hope all is well with everyone. Stay warm! :o)
