A Sad Day in Ohio......

At 11 a.m. this morning, Jessica Marie Davis and her daughter, Chloe Leann will be laid to rest. This is truly a heartbreaking and gut-wrenching day. I know that I personally have lost several nights of sleep and shed many tears over this horrendous crime. Jessie was such a beautiful girl and everything that I've read and heard about her has been in relation to that. She was so in love with her son Blake and ecstatic that she was finally going to have a daughter to share her life with. Chloe has been laid to rest in her mother's arms.

No matter how you feel about the publicity of this case, it is sad that this family is mourning the loss of their daughter and granddaughter when in fact, they should be celebrating their granddaughter Chloe's birth on Tuesday. I know that Jessie's mother, Patty, showed tremendous strenght after the arraignment of the perpetrator and his accomplise on Monday. She stated that she believes "God has prepared her for this moment her entire life; please pray for the Cutts family as well." I don't believe I would ever be able to do that. In fact, I KNOW I would not be that kind. But Patty has a testimony that is going to impact this world I believe. She has a true faith in God and I am so thankful that she is sharing that. She has already made an impact on me.

Please continue to pray for this family......and for Jessie's son, Blake. He has a very long road ahead of him. Patty has filed for full custody of him and as of now, she does have temporary custody. He has lost both of his parents really through this tragedy. And we can only imagine the images and pain he has trapped inside his little head and heart. I have been researching and emailing various sources for days to find out how we can send sympathy cards or contribute to the family for Blake. Below is what I have been sent from various sources. Please remember them all in prayer today and hug your children every moment you get. The world is unsafe and we never know when our tomorrow may never come.
To send cards to the family:

Rick Pitinii told me that people could send cards to Patty and the family to his office:
101 Central PlazaSuite 1000Canton, Ohio 44702

There have also been trust funds set up through a local bank. I am working on getting all that information so once I receive it I will post it.

**Remember Jessie, Chloe, and precious Blake**

A fun day at PreK

Well, yesterday was quite an interesting day at preschool! We were busy playing in shaving cream, fingerpainting, and celebrating "Ooey Gooey" week. Well, it got a little too crazy for my aide Michelle and I. We have a very sweet little girl in our class that just turned two not long ago......she LOVES playing with baby dolls. And she is very maternal and nurturing to them. In fact, a little TOO nurturing!! After snack, she called for me to tell me she was "feeding her baby". When I turned to look........she was indeed feeding her baby! She had her shirt lifted up and the baby doll was latched onto her skin, if ya know what I mean. When Michelle saw this, I thought she was going to fall over!! I've never seen anyone's jaw hit the ground so fast. So, we decided to just ignore her since the other kids were playing fine and not really noticing what she was doing. It was close to 45 minutes when we noticed that she was still nursing her baby......but was beginning to draw interest from another little girl in the class about what she was doing. Michelle and I both looked at each other and intently watched as she burped the baby and switched positions to continue feeding the doll. Then we hear her tell the other little girl some specific details about how to nurse the doll. That was IT!!! I bailed out to find our terrific director because I wasn't about to have the other little girl go home and tell her mother that she learned to nurse a baby doll at preschool. Especially since this little girl HAS NO SIBLINGS at home!! LOL So, with my directors help, we talked both little girls into putting their dolls in the crib in the hallway to sleep for the rest of the school day. And let me tell you, MICHELLE AND I INTEND TO KEEP THOSE DOLLS THERE FOR THE REST OF THE SUMMER!!! I have NEVER had an experience like that!!!

Hot & Humid in NC

It is going to be another hot and humid day here in good ol' Pittsboro. Last night it was so humid that the poor dogs didn't even want to go for a walk. We have had a little bit of rain a few nights this past week, but we need a good down pouring to soak into the ground. It's even too hot to go swimming and cool off!!

I guess today I will spend time working on my preschool plans. Tomorrow, we are going to do fingerpaints and play in shaving cream! What fun!! It's "Ooey Gooey" week and since I don't like to get "ooey and gooey" I'm trying to compromise here. haha

I haven't had any time to scrapbook lately and it's starting to really affect my mood swings. I think that when I am on vacation next week that I am going to lock myself in my scrap room/office and just scrap away. Of course, the puppers would have to be locked in with me.....especially since poor Pugs won't leave my side.

I'm still keeping updated on the Jessie Davis case........I will be for the next two years!!! Her mother, Patty, has such an amazing strenght and testimony to offer to this world. Who knows what positive things will come out of this tragedy. Continue to pray for their family and most of all, little Blake. This black cloud will overshadow his life forever.

This scripture caught my attention during my devotion this morning. It is one I will have to memorize and apply to my life this week. Things here have been so stressful and I am truly about to lose my cool.....I feel outnumbered and more like a slave than a family member. I'll get over it though.

“From the end of the earth I call to You when my heart is faint; Lead me to the rock that is higher than I.” Psalm 61:2 (NASB)

I've finally accomplished something...

Well, I finally got my Master Bathroom Paint job finished.....all of the ragging on done and all I have to do now is the little cove where the toilet is. LOL But I got the hard part done. I'll have to try and take a pic later and post. I'm not sure how well it will show up but it has a great deal of detail in it. It should for two entire days of ragging on!!! My arms, neck and back are KILLING me!

I think I'll skip painting today and work on preschool plans. Along laundry, sweeping, dishes, the routine of life. We did get a good little storm here last night.......but it is so muggy today. YUCK!

Well, hope everyone has a terrific week. I'm hoping that when I am off next week I can actually do some scrapbooking. I haven't been able to do any in WEEKS!! And I have two new cartridges to play with! Lord, the day needs to come and soon.........

Loss for words....

Today is suppose to be a joyous day for us around here. It's Pugsley's 1st birthday! Happy Birthday Pugster!!! Of course, Eric and Brady came back from Boy Scout Camp so that started the Pugsinator out on the wrong foot! haha He's barked at Eric every second he moves!

I spent all day sponging/ragging the bathroom and still have more than 1/4 to finish tomorrow. I've been distracted of course by the news and the unsettling news of Jessie Davis' death.

I am not going to make this a long blog by any means tonight because I just don't understand people. I don't understand the violence in this world......why would a father want to kill his wife and children in that SUV in Illionois last week and then have the guts to try and stand at their graveside?? And I think of that poor little innocent 2 year old, that more than likely watched his mother take her last breath and the future that he has to live without her. It makes me so angry!!! To know that her and her little baby girl died together when they should have been celebrating her birth in just a few short weeks. I can honestly say that I do not feel sorry for these ignorant cowardly people who do these things when God finally does judge them. They get what they deserve.

Please continue to pray for the Davis family and for poor little Blake. I told little Brandon that if they hadn't found Jessie by next Sunday, we'd drive to Ohio and help them search.....as crazy as I am, I would have. I've been to Nicole Brown Simpson's house after those infamous murders (had nightmares afterwards, but hey, I was curious). I am also thinking about taking up a collection of things to send to the little boy, Blake. Coloring books, bible stories, anything that can help that poor little guy. So, if anyone would like to send anything, just let me know. I'll email FOX News and find out how I go about getting them some things. If you think I'm nuts, then I'm nuts. But sometimes I just have these heavy burdens on my heart that stay attached to me.

I pray everyone has a safe evening and terrific Sunday. Happy Birthday again my Pugsley!!!

Continue to pray for Jessie....

Anyone that really knows me can tell you that every once in a while I really get caught up in what is happening in the world around us. The case of poor Jessie Davis, the nine month pregnant mother in Ohio, has shaken me up quite a bit this week. I have truly shed tears at night praying for the return of this mother and for her family. There are so many cruel and sick people in this world.......we aren't safe no matter where we go or what we do! Every day there is another person missing, another child molested, or another teen killed. In fact, people have gotten so brave that they do it in broad daylight in major department stores! I just want to ask everyone to continue to pray that they find this poor 26 year old mother alive. And that her precious soon-to-be daughter, whom she has chosen to name Chloe, is find alive also. This case in some ways takes me back to Nicole Brown Simpson and the pain that family had felt. Along with Ronald Goldman's family. Also, continue to pray for her sweet little boy, Blake......praise God that child was not hurt in anyway being left alone in that house for who knows how long! Anything could have happened to him. He seems to be very bright and articulate. These are real people that are hurting. Real people hoping and yearning for the return of their precious daughter, sister, mother, friend. If I could drive to Canton, Ohio right now and help out with the search, my parents can tell ya I would in a heartbeat! But for now, I will continue to pray and hope for them.

Some blog changes...

Okay, as some of you may notice, I have made a few changes to the blog. I added a few more links. Yes, they are political......not something that I am usually into, but this one really has my interest. I've been watching a lot of political debates, reading up on issues, etc. and to be honest, there is no perfect person to run this country except for God Himself (and they are doing their best to take Him out of everything!). We are the minority anymore.......especially those of us who are Christians. I have done a lot of reading on Gov. Mike Huckabee......he's been on the second tier of the Republican candidates now for a while and he has recently bumped McCain out of the way. He has good conservative Christian values that have impressed me intensely. He is also a former Baptist minister. I have added just a few of his links to the left for you to check out in your spare time. HE'S WORTH CHECKING OUT!!! We cannot get someone like Hillary in there who is just going to turn her back on this country and work on making a bigger name for herself. Yes, I like Rudy, and he has some very good attributes.......but he is not Pro Choice and that has really bothered me. We are made in God's image, that means we also contain His feelings and thoughts when you think about it. Would Christ say it's right to abort a baby just because??? No.....and that's how I make myself think about it. There are numerous options out there.....but an innocent child, from that second of conception, should not be punished. Huckabee is ProChoice, his voting record is on a steady course and he has not changed from year to year on his beliefs. Oh well, enough of my political rambling for now.

Remember to keep the family of Jessica Davis, the pregnant woman in Ohio, in your prayers tonight as they still continue to search for her. There are too many crimes in this world anymore. It's time everyone turns to help one another in our own country. And while I am at it, I am sick to death of everyone saying that they need to send our troops home and criticize them for fighting this war. Yes, I don't like our troops being there, but my husband sacrificed time with his family, baseball games, award ceremonies at his children's school, birthday's, anniversaries and Christmas so that he could fight for what he believes in. I believed in him the entire time he was there and if he does decide to go back, (or the miltary decides to send him back), I will send him off with the best smile I possibly can because HE is one of the strong and brave fighting for OUR RIGHTS and OUR protection. We are everyone's enemy.....many people still do not get that. Instead they want to tear down our soldiers morale and hurt all of the military families back here waiting for their return. What happened to supporting our troops? Asking a deployed soldiers family if they need a babysitter for a few hours so that they can have some time for themselves to get a haircut, manicure, ANYTHING to help them cope with being the head of the household while their spouse is gone?? I'm sure their are many military wives out there that will agree with me that WE SERVE OUR COUNTRY TOO! AND I AM DANG PROUD OF IT!!!! So don't tell me that you will not fund the supplies that my husband may need when he goes back to fight this awful war. LISTEN TO OUR SOLDIERS!!! Those who have been there, are there and have seen the smile on the children's faces when they see them walking down the street protecting them. They hear the thank you's from a foreign land and only criticism and condemnation from their own country. Just a little something to sleep on.......

Just thought I'd do a little sharing....

Well, with today being Father's Day and all.......I thought I'd share a few pics of my dad with you all. Being out of state, this is my gift to him.

Of course, this is a picture of my dad and I when I was a cute little innocent thing.....hehe. Hard to believe I'd grow up to be the crazy girl that I am....

This is my dad and I on his motorcycle. I can't really remember that much about riding it.....other than he and my mom fell off of it in my mamaw and papaw's gravel driveway once. Boy, I sure look cool with those sunglasses on.....can ya tell it was the 70's at least??

Now, this is a pretty scary picture because it contains my sister, Robyn. Talk about a handful!! The girl was down right mean to me when I was little. Of course, she looks a lot more like my dad with the dark features and all.

And of course, you can't celebrate your dad on Father's Day without celebrating his dad as well. My grandpa was a hardworking and crazy man. HILARIOUS!!! So, when you all get your crazy phone calls from me pretending to be someone else pulling a prank on ya, those are the two I get it from sitting in the back of that truck right there. Of course, my mom isn't so innocent.

I hope that everyone had the opportunity to grow up with a hardworking, dedicated and loving father like I did. Nothing has ever been to small for him and he never takes no for an answer. He sets his goals high and achieves them. My sister and I were always kept safe and educated about the things of the world that could harm us because my dad saw much more than any father should have to see with his job in law enforcement. He had compassion for his job.......and it made us proud to know he was out there protecting all the children in our community, not just us. And he continues to do that today...........if he can step up and make a difference, he WILL.

He is talented in many ways.......but I must warn you....HE LOVES EARS!!!!

Happy Father's Day Dad!

Love,

Rhonda, Robyn, & Molly

My Father's Day Card

I just thought I'd share a pic of the Father's Day card that I made for my dad this year. Boy, it's hard to make a card for a man! LOL My dad loves his John Deere......well, that's probably an understatement, but I took these pictures when I was home last summer of him riding along on his wonderful ride. You can't see it, but he's got the headphones blaring and just cruisin' along with today's greatest hits (I'm sure it's more like the Oak Ridge Boys or Conway Twitty though). hehe Anyhow, just thought I'd share this with you.

I took a "ME" day today. I got my haircut and went to yes, you guessed it, ACM! I behaved myself too and only purchased ONE cartridge. There were two other's I want but not immediately. It was quite a step on my part to have that much will power! Now, I just have to find time to use it! I guess I will next week when Eric and Brady are gone for Boy Scout Camp. What in the world will I do?? The dogs will be thrilled to have more room in the bed.....poor Pugs won't know how to react once Eric comes back after a week though.....LOL

Well, hope everyone has a terrific Saturday!! Mine will consist of early morning Praise Team practice and finishing up the paint job in the hallway and moving on to the Master Bath! UGGG.....

Thursday, June 14, 2007

Thank goodness it's almost Friday.....

Well, tomorrow is pay day and you know what that means after the week I've had. I am going straight to the bank and then straight to ACMoore with as many coupons as I can print. LOL I know they have their cartridges on sale, but I only really want one. And I have to get somethings for preK and pick up some cuttlebug accessories for my mom (and maybe me...). I plan on painting again on Saturday. Hip...Hip...Hooray!!!

My day was nice because I only had 5 preschoolers show up today so it was an easy day. And I got to bring one of the little girls home that goes to church with us for the afternoon to play, Miss Caitlin. She is such a sweety......long blonde curly hair and she never stops talking! LOL Very intelligent little young lady.

So, don't look for me to post much tomorrow until I get all my goodies from my stressful week. Whoo hoo!!! Scrapbooking is gonna be going on tomorrow night at this house!!!

A "ventful" day so far.....

Okay, I don't usually do this but I need to have a major breakdown right now!! I am so irritated and so worn out of catering to Brittany and having to explain so many simple things to here all the time that I'm just biting my tongue as hard as I can not to lash out at her!!! I swear she was born a blonde and they must have died her hair in the nursery!!! She is almost 18 years old.....an adult.......and has sooooo much maturing to do. I know it's nothing to brag about, but when I was her age, I was pregnant and becoming a wife (big mistake on that wife part....should have listened to my parents better). I can't even get her to clean her room without reminding her every single day or bringing it up to her! It's like you have to be her eyes and ears all the time. And her decisions are getting careless again. The other day, her choir teacher from school called and told her she had to come back into school this week from 8a-11a to make up hours because she didn't attend graduation. Okay, she never told me that she had to go to graduation. In fact, she swears up and down that the teacher told her she didn't have to take the final unless she had missed days. When in fact, the teacher said if you weren't going to be able to make graduation or had days missed you were to take the final. Oh, she misunderstood.....then going through her notebook, she found the paper stating that it was a requirement for all show choir members to not only attend graduation, but PERFORM!! Her teacher made her write an apology note to the senior's to explain why she wasn't there.......UUUUURRRRGGGGG!!!!!!!

She knows that she's stressing me out and that she's being lazy. I am starting to wonder and worry about grades coming in. They should arrive anytime next week. Another example is that she's waited over a year and a half to take her driver's test.....okay, I can understand a few months until she's ready...but now it's getting so busy around this house that I could use an extra hand. Especially once Eric starts serving his time at Bragg in the fall. I don't know how to approach her anymore than I have. I've tried the show and tell treatment where I show her how to do everything exactly the way it should be done, reminders, huffing and puffing, lol.....I'm just ready for the bridge!!!!

Sunday, I told her to go ahead and pick up her room, vacuum it really good and then get the carpet shampooer out to shampoo her carpet. I've done it twice since we've lived here and she still can't learn to keep her nailpolish and make-up off the floor....it's like she doesn't care how it looks. Well, I was hoping that she'd see that it's no fun shampooing the carpet and that it makes you tired and you hurt like an alley cat the next day..........well, plan failed. Today is WEDNESDAY and she is JUST NOW starting to shampoo her carpet!!! Her excuse for waiting until today, "I just thought you'd set everything up for me to do when "mom" was ready". Paris Hilton, do you have room in that cell for me???
Of course, what happens next you might say..........haha. She doesn't vacuum her room and clogs up the shampooer with all of her long red hair. So I have to take the entire thing apart, two hours worth of work, and fix it. Now, I'm sitting here while she is running the thing thinking I should just do everything myself so that I don't have to keep fixing everything. But how will she know how to do anything when she gets out on her own? I'd let her try to fall more around here but it affects me and drives me absolutely cuckoo!!!! And I don't mean that I want Cocoa Puffs either.

I can pretty much predict that my summer is going to be a bummer.....with the exception of my preschoolers probably! Eric is around the house all summer until he reports for duty at Bragg and with me working AND doing all the chores it's not going to be pleasant. Especially when the others are just sitting around watching television or pickin' their nose! Who knows! I may be the next missing mom/wife on Fox News that you hear about........don't come looking for me either if my cricut is missing. That means it was a voluntary move. If my cricut is still here, you better put out an APB on me though........I'll never leave home w/o the cricut machine. LOL Or Mia Sue. Lordy, now I'll have to take Mia, Meadow and Pugsley because I would worry about them too much. Oh lord, what to do!!!

No more laundry....please!!!

Mia Sue sitting at Brandon's baseball game this week...isn't she sweet?

What a day! It seems like I can't catch a break to scrap for anything these past few weeks! Today, I had to finish up last minute lesson plans for preschool starting tomorrow. Well, I guess it was more time consuming than I expected it to be. Plus, I did like 7 loads of laundry. That's all I do! Day in and day out!!! I'm sick of laundry........yuck!

Tomorrow we begin summer camp at the preschool and I am looking forward to it. I have missed the kids just having a week off! They are truly special to me. Brady went to a day camp today sponsored by the County Sheriff's Department. He seemed to have enjoyed it and learned a good bit. Tomorrow they are going to Polk County to the Correctional Facility there.....I had to sign a permission slip stating I knew the risk........geez, thanks!!! Maybe this will help him a little bit with his attitude. I sure hope so! He gets to go all week and the best part is that IT'S FREE!!! I was amazed. They even provide lunch! Of course, I found out today that it was cafeteria food from the jail.........lol Hey, they have good cooks in the jail, I remember my dad always commenting on how well they cooked at the jail.

Well, it sounds like it is going to get ready and storm here again. We've had some thunderstorms off and all this evening. Nothing drastic yet though. It would be nice if we'd get a good downpour of rain. The grass is so dry here. Well, it's time for Bill O'Reilly so I need to find out what's happening in the world of politics.

Congrats Rangers!!! 2007 Tournament Champions

"Okay, here we go...I have to hit this!!"

Well, what a hot and exciting day yesterday was..... Did I say hot?? It was in the high 90's and we had a 3:00 tournament game! The Rangers surprised us all by winning 11-3 against the Brewers. Yeah Rangers!!!
Here are a few pictures from the game. This is the team picture after they received their trophies.

Mia Sue licking off the cheese from the Nacho's

"Man, I can't believe they won!
I even dressed up like a geek to jinx them!
Brady will never let me hear the end of this

If Jesus Came Back Today....

Just thought I'd share this......

IF JESUS CAME BACK TODAY

Would you have to change your clothes
Before you let Him in?
Or hide some magazines, and put
The Bible where they'd been?

Would you hide your worldly music
And put some hymn books out?
Could you let Jesus walk right in,
Or would you rush about?

And I wonder, if the Savior
Spent a day or two with you,
Would you go right on doing
The things you always do?

Would you go right on saying
The things you always say?
Or would life for you continue
As it does from day to day?

Would you take Jesus with you
Everywhere you go?
Or would you maybe change your
Plans for just a day or so?

Would you be glad to have Him
Meet your closest friends?
Or would you hope they stay away
Until His visit ends?

Would you be glad to have Him
Stay forever on and on?
Or would you sigh with great relief
When he at last was gone?

It might be interesting to know,
The things that you would do,
If Jesus came in person,
To spend some time with you.

A few more baseball pics.....

I thought I'd share a few more pictures from Brandon's baseball game Tuesday night. I was having computer problems yesterday afternoon (go figure!) so I only got to upload one. I wish we could hurry up and get DSL here in the country! Dial up STINKS!!!!

Brady played his first game tonight. Amazingly, the won 5-3! So he will be playing in the tournament game on Saturday afternoon! Go Rangers!!! I will upload pics of his game later on. Off to bed because this dang server is SLOW........and it's giving me "internet road rage" if there is such a thing!!!!

Reds 12, Tigers 13

Well, I must say that we played an AWESOME game last night! We ended up going into an extra inning because of a tie right at the very end. You wouldn't have expected that at the top of the third inning though! We were down, 10-3!! And looking pretty bad I might add.

My little preacher man went in at the end of the first inning to pitch! I have NEVER seen him pitch before!! I know that Eric has told me he has, but sometimes the boys both have games at the same time so since Eric is one of Brandon's coaches, I always have to be at Brady's games to support him and miss out on some of the things Brandon does.

He was so good........and so cute!!! I tried to take a few pictures of him to share with you all, but I had Mia on my lap and of course, the fence was in the way! But I think they turned out all right.

We ended up losing on a coaches call really. For some reason, the third base coach told the boy on third to run into home with the ball in the pitchers hand!!! I don't know what he was thinking!! And that was our third out. The boys played great though! Such a passionate played game.

Mia Sue got to attend her big brothers game and sat their the entire time without making a peep. She was so well behaved and seemed to enjoy watching them run after that ball (although I'm sure she would have preferec to be out there running after it herself). Kudo's for the Reds TERRIFIC SEASON!!!!

Baseball tournaments Begin

Well, tonight baseball tournaments begin. Brandon plays at 7:30, and if they win they play tomorrow night. If they lose, well, then we wait until next season. I hope they win. Not just for Brandon, but for Eric also. I think he's really enjoyed helping to coach this team. Brady plays his first tourny game on Thursday evening. So, it should all be over one way or the other by Saturday evening.

School will be out for the kids on Friday. Thank goodness I have preschool camp for two days a week!! LOL I guess that at Brittany's high school they had a water balloon fight on Monday during their break time. Well, the principal gave all the students involved 20 hours of community service and told the senior's that they would not get their diploma until those hours were fulfilled. I do believe they need to get punished for it, especially since someone could have fallen or gotten hurt someother way. I also think that the punishment is a bit harsh. Especially since graduation is only a few days away. Oh well, I wonder if Chatham County will make FOX News with this late breaking story!! LOL

It's suppose to be in the 90's here for the rest of the week and over the week-end. That means that Eric will probably be indoors instead of working outside in his garage in all that humidity. Lucky me!!!! I was hoping to start painting the Dining room this w/e. HOPING!!! Guess we'll just have to wait and see. I can't get much of anything done with him in the house! Well, off to work on preschool lesson plans......again!!!

Another day of painting........

Man, am I ever tired. I have taken on the task of painting our kitchen. No specific reason, just "felt" like a change. You know how when you move into a new home you have that flat paint on the walls that wipes off anyhow. Well, last week, we stocked up on paint during the Memorial Day Sales at Home Depot and got enough for the kitchen, Master Bath and DR......needless to say, I am 3/4 done with the kitchen. After a WEEK!!!

Of course, I've had work and baseball. We also had preschool graduation for our 4 year old's this week and I had to say good-bye to my little 3 year old monkeys. I will be teaching the 1's/2's for the summer and not all of the children return anyhow for summer camp. I will miss those little tikes. Life has gotten in the way too. I have to begin on my preschool summer camp lesson plan projects and we have baseball tournaments coming up this week so once again......life will interrupt me.

Update on my friend Deborah that I requested you all to pray for.......she fell on Monday and she ended up having to have her femur operated on Wednesday. This surgery was harder on her than the past two she's had. Unfortunately, they found another tumor on her leg while they were operating. Please continue to keep her in your prayers and I will keep you all updated as well.

I hope that everyone has had a terrific Saturday! I'm sure I will "paint" some more tomorrow......then Brady has a double header so I'll be at the ball field in the evening. Maybe I can get some Preschool work done then.........(doubt it...hehe).

Rescue Me PLEAZZZZZZ

As many of you know, we have rescued two dogs since the passing of our beloved Roxy. Our previous rescue, Pugsley, was saved from East Ridge, TN. He also has a sister that a rescue organization had taken in that is right here in NC. Unfortunately, it costs a good bit of money to retain these organizations. You have vet bills, feeding, grooming, etc. They are going to have to close down. There are nine dogs available for adoption. I am going to post the link so you all can visit Petfinder.com and see them for yourselves.

"Hello, my name is Nikita. Can I come live with you I love children and I sure miss my brother, Pugsley. I need your help."

My heart goes out to Pugsley's sister, Nikita though. She is so adorable. A Kai Ken is a very special breed of dog. She is darker in color than Pugsley is. PLEASE, if you know anyone that would like an animal let me know ASAP!!! If I could, I would save them all. I know that one day I will probably be fostering myself and Trish and I would LOVE to have our own Rescue Organization. There are just too many precious pets out there for us to ignore. And they don't deserve to lose there life because the human race doesn't want to care for them. It's just sad!!!

My dogs are my children and they receive equal time with me each day just as my kids do. Right now, Mia is laying on my lap as I type this, Pugsley is sleeping right here int he corner of my office and Meadow is laying by my feet. They are wonderful and precious. I would be lost without there love and companionship. And I know they would be lost without me as well. Please pray about rescuing one of these pets. If you are in another state, I'll arrange transportation for you. I'll drive them there if I have to myself. Have a great day everyone!!!
